Between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:45 pm, students and one (1) parent or guardian may come to Divine Mercy Academy to meet their homeroom teacher and see their new classroom. The event concludes promptly at 2:00 pm. All people entering the school must wear a mask, NO EXCEPTIONS. Our teachers will reach out to their families via OptionC early next week to introduce themselves and let your child know that he/she is in their homeroom.
If you registered your child for virtual learning, you may pick up your child’s learning materials and books on either of these days. Please note that some learning materials are on order and may not arrive before this event or even for the start of school. You will be notified when those items are ready to pick up. We will also have Chromebooks available for distribution if you previously requested one for your child. If you are in need of a Chromebook for your child's virtual learning, please notify the school no later than Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
For families who are not able to attend this event, the teachers will have information available to send out via email and some may even host a Zoom call with their families. Please watch your email for communication from your child’s teacher. Now, more than ever, it is vital that families closely check their email on a daily basis for updates from the school and teachers.
